It is predicted to be a hot, hot, hot weekend. Maybe we’ll even break 30 degrees. The water will be gorgeously warm so enjoy dipping your toes.

Summer is officially here

The first weekend of the summer should be sunny. The warm temperatures the past week have warmed up the water so pop on your water wings and jump in. Wakeboarders and tubers are skimming the waves as they enjoy the summer heat.

Hot, hot, hot weekend coming up

It’s been warm this week and the weekend of June 18 to 20 is going to be hot, hot, hot so the water is warm enough for swimming in our smaller, shallower, lakes. You’ll have to be a bit tougher to play in Cold Lake though.

Cold Lake’s 42^nd Annual Stampede runs from June 17 to 20 so check out the action at the Cold Lake Exhibition Grounds.

National Aboriginal Day celebrations are scheduled for Lac La Biche and Bonnyville on Monday June 21.
